Aesthetic Medicine Society

Aesthetic Medicine Society (AMS) was founded in 2000 and is a member of International Aesthetic Medicine Society (UIME) since 2004.

AMS unites over 1000 Russian specialist of aesthetic medicine, conducts scientific, educational, and publishing activity. AMS’s main aim is forming of a united professional community with a highly developed self-regulating structure, cooperating with state, society and international professional organizations.

In 2007 AMS and KOSMETIK international announced their joining. It means the integration of resources and creation of partnership, which is able to settle a lot of questions in aesthetic medicine - scientific and practical, publishing, exhibition, educational, job placement problems, professional level improving, law support and legislation.

AMS aims at forming a professional community with a well developed auto-regulating structure, with a close contact with society, government and international professional associations.

Observation and coordination organ of AMS is Ethical committee. It consists of the leading specialists of aesthetic medicine field.

Official printed organ of AMS is Aesthetic Medicine Issues, which is published in cooperation with KOSMETIK international.

AMS activity:

• International Congress on Aesthetic Medicine named after Evgenii Laputin (Joined congress of AMS and KOSMETIK international)

Congress parts are: cosmetology and aesthetic medicine, dermoscopy, micropigmentation.
Every year over 2000 specialists visit the congress. Among them are: cosmetologists, dermatologists, aesthetic medicine specialists, plastic surgeons, beauty shops directors and managers from all over the Russian Federation, CIS countries, Europe, Asia and America.

• Aesthetic medicine conferences in Russian regions

Since 2007 AMS annually organizes conferences on aesthetic medicine in the framework of KOSMETIK EXPO exhibitions in Volga region (Kazan city), Urals region (Ekaterinburg city), and professional seminars for the cosmetologists.
